Terms and Conditions

• All online sale returns must be pre-authorized via email (sales@gige.ca). Before returning any item to GIGE, the customer must obtain a valid RMA number from the GIGE Sales Team.
• Return items must be received within 15 days of receipt.
• The customer is responsible for paying the costs of return shipping, plus any applicable insurance deemed necessary.
• Shipping returns in the same shipping packaging they arrived in. Returns that are improperly shipped may be refused or subject to additional restocking fees.
• GIGE reserves the right to charge a minimum 15% restocking fee on any returned item that are not DOA or to deny any return that has missing or damaged retail / product packaging. If the returned item is found to be defective or DOA and all pieces for the item (packaging, accessories, etc) are returned intact, the restocking fee will be waived.
• GIGE considers the following to constitute damaged retail / product packaging:
o Rips, tears, or punctures of exterior or interior packaging
o Writing on the exterior or interior packaging
o Damage to or removal of UPC
o Any signs of tampering to the packaging
• GIGE considers the following to constitute missing retail / product packaging:
o No original retail box / packaging
o Missing items (manuals, accessories, etc.)
o Missing packaging materials (Foam inserts, cardboard spacers, etc.)
• GIGE considers the following to opened retail / product packaging:
o Broken or removed seals
o Broken or opened internal packaging or bags
o Broken or opened external retail packaging.
• The following items are non-returnable under any condition once opened and carry only the manufacturer's warranty.
o Printers, Ink & Toner
o Office Supplies
o Media (Hard Drives, Solid-State Drives, USB Drives, Optical Discs, Tape & Flash Media)
o Software & Licenses (Final Sale - No DOA coverage)
• Unless otherwise stated, all warranties are direct to Manufacturers' Warranty only. Any signs of tampering or physical damage to products will void all GIGE warranties and return policies.
• Shipping damage must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the shipment to be considered. If there is noticeable shipping damage on the outside of the box, please reject the shipment with the courier and do not accept the package.


General Warranty


• Unless otherwise noted, all items carry manufacturer warranty only.
Refurbished / Used Product
30 day GIGE warranty, unless otherwise noted. Does not apply to 'Recertified' products.
Clearance Products
Items sold on clearance are final-sale and excluded from our normal warranty, return, and shipping policies.
• GIGE cannot be responsible for software or data loss due to any hardware malfunctions or failures. GIGE strongly recommends the use of a backup system.
• GIGE cannot be responsible for software or hardware corruption or loss due to a computer virus or malicious software. GIGE strongly recommends the use of antivirus and anti malware/spyware software.
• GIGE cannot be responsible for software or hardware corruption or failure due to electrical blackouts / brownouts or power failures. GIGE strongly recommends the use of a surge bar or a UPS System.
• All warranties are valid for the original purchaser only and are non-transferable.
• GIGE does not warranty any item to be suitable for any purpose. GIGE does not warranty any item to be compatible with any hardware or software.
• No other warranties are expressed or implied.

 

Accuracy of Website Data


• In the event that an item is listed on any Gige controlled website at an incorrect price, or with incorrect information, regardless of the reason, Gige reserves the right to refuse or cancel any online purchase for erroneously listed items. If payment has already been processed, Gige will immediately issue a refund of all charges processed.


Order Acceptance Policy


• All orders are subject to verification and approval by Gige and may be refused or limited for any reason, including but not limited to: product availability, errors in pricing, errors in product descriptions, or the inability to properly verify a payment.
• A binding agreement or commitment to provide products or services is not created until a payment received is reviewed and approved by GIGE based on acceptability of the associated data.
• In the event that GIGE is not able to verify payment data, the customer's offer of payment is deemed rejected and any form of binding relationship is nullified.


Shipping Policy


• GIGE reserves the right to ship orders with our choice of courier.
• Once a product has been released to the courier, it is subject to the courier's shipping policies, and is generally outside of the control or influence of GIGE.
• GIGE is not responsible for delays within the courier system. Where possible, GIGE will endeavor to provide updates in the case of unexpected delays. Delays outside of our control do not grant the customer grounds for refund or cancellation of an order.
• Orders containing more than 1 item may be shipped in multiple deliveries at the discretion of our order fulfillment team, and may be shipped with different couriers in multiple packages.
• A fee up to $50 may be applied for any failed deliveries resulting from refusal of undamaged packages, incorrect addresses, or multiple delivery attempts being unsuccessful and returned to our warehouse.
• Shipping damage must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the shipment to be considered. If there is noticeable shipping damage on the outside of the box, please reject the shipment with the courier and do not accept the package.


Quote Expiry


• Unless otherwise noted, all quotes are valid for 24 hours from the time of creation. Due to the unpredictable fluctuation in market prices on computer products, GIGE does not have a price protection guarantee. This enables GIGE to have some of the lowest prices in the market.
